#I’M SORRY BUT I’M SO FUCKING PLEASED WITH THIS #because sherlock is an asshole #a complete and utter dickwad #and most other shows would glorify his character #and portray scenes like this as ”oh look just a quirky trait our holmes has what a qt” #but NOT ELEMENTARY #elementary says fuck you to that shit #because watson shouldn’t have to lower herself to the role in which sherlock is trying to place her in his life #she will make the coffee for both of them because fuck it’s a nice thing to do and who doesn’t like coffee in the morning #but you can bet your ass you’ll be pouring your own damn cup #and omg i can’t fucking wait to see the both of them develop with each other #just… fuck i don’t even care if the cases in the show haven’t been all that mind-blowing mystery productions #what really matters are holmes and watson #that’s what has always mattered in every adaptation #and this show is only on its second episode and it’s already pulling it off BRILLIANTLY #guh FEELINGS #also JOAN WATSON IS A FUCKING PRINCESS (x)

elementary is trying too hard to be inclusive

fans of a show whose writers are not trying at all (via pancakeghost)

 #because how dare they try to be realistic about the world #because obviously every show must be about white straight rich thin dudes doing white straight male stuff #how dare they acknowledge the existence of different people all at once#because in real life we never see a black man and a transexual at the same place#too much diversity #the universe says #we will never find an asian american woman and a gay man at the same place #one of them must get out so the other can get in #it’s one of the laws of nature #elementary is trying too hard to be inclusive#that’s why i don’t like it #because how dare they write women that don’t apply to the box mother/girlfriend/sisters/villain #how dare they be creative about these characters #unnacceptable #i’ll stick to my shows that are moderately inclusive#that keeps me more comfortable to continue being a piece of shit

Can we talk about how Elementary casted a trans*woman as a trans*woman

Can we talk about how they didn’t make her storyline about how she is trans* AND she was seen as something desirable

Can we talk about how she had OCD but it wasn’t something that was made fun of or a big deal at all, nor did it define her character

Can we talk about how in the scene where Watson was changing on camera, they didn’t make it sexual nor objectified her body whatsoever.

Can we talk about the huge amount of minorities in the Elementary cast, ALONG WITH A MAIN CHARACTER BEING A WOMAN OF COLOR

Can we talk about how changing Watson into a woman didn’t change the dynamic of Sherlock and Watson’s relationship whatsoever, thus showing that a man and a woman can be friends without any romantic entanglements whatsoever, and the writers intend to keep it that way

Can we just talk about HOW FUCKING PERFECT ELEMENTARY IS AND IF YOU DON’T WATCH IT JUST BECAUSE WATSON IS A WOMAN THAN YOU’RE MISSING OUT
