to be honest I have a little nagging doubt that Eight would’ve gone along with Eleven’s plan to save Gallifrey as easily as the War Doctor did in his position and it’s all thanks to this scene
I was just falling asleep when I thought about how the doctor forgot who Lucie was when he was stuck on Orbis.
Then I thought about the six years he was on that sun thing in prisoner of the sun and programmed the android things with her voice pattern and personality
