EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT WAS GLORIOUS. EVERYTHING.

Now that I’ve relistened, thoughts/liveblogging:

LUCIFER!

I was just thinking earlier about how much I love Deb and that I was so happy she was back, whooo, I’m glad you were too!!! #speakstome (I don’t care.)

Also now that you say that about K I really wish he could have narrated.  That would have been the best ever omg.  I guess they’ll just have to do that Beyond Belief/Welcome to Night Vale crossover! (Also I guess now is an appropriate time to admit I didn’t realize it was Wil Wheaton.  When they said his name at the end I was like, ‘well who did he play?’ but I figured it out when I listened a second time. Whoops.)

Also also I enjoyed the fact that the whole Thrilling Adventure Hour part was basically all about Croach wanting Sparks/Croach to happen while Sparks was like “okay whatever, paperwork!! *___*” I mean, that’s what I got out of it?

And speaking of TAH I guess I’d forgive you if you were sorry for making me listen to Sparks Nevada.  I really really like Sparks Nevada. I mean, the character. And Mark Gagliardi.  And also Croach.  (And those three in that order. Sorry to Gags for liking a fictional character more than him.  Especially when it’s not… his.  Also Marc Evan Jackson!  I was watching the first ep of season two of Brooklyn Nine Nine and Captain Holt mentioned his husband and I got silly excited just because it’s him.  Even if he wasn’t actually in the ep.  It’s still exciting.)

I loved Croach being in Night Vale for all the reasons.  Including the human-like features and Carlos’s hair and teeth.  Also.  Who else is in his top two I wonder???

Carlos is pretty ridiculous.  Everybody from Night Vale is pretty ridiculous.  Poor Steve.

I love them alllll.  And I especially loved Craig’s ‘bless you’ omg.

Dear people in the audience aww-ing Delores turning the bad guy’s proposal down: seriously?

I liked that the rest of the audience realized that was ridiculous and started cheering instead.

Howdy adios!

Sparks Nevada Theme (Paul F. Tompkins version)

When there’s varmits need a-catchin’

or youngin’s need a-savin’

on my rocket steed I race across the stars.

For I’m sworn by the burrs of my astro spurs,

to right the outlaw wrongs on Mars.

(Yes he rights the outlaw wrongs on Mars)

Oh the hyper cattle hummin’

and Martian’s savage drummin’

are as beautiful as comet bugs in jars,

Oh I’m from Earth

but I right the outlaw wrongs on Mars

(Yes he rights the outlaw wrongs on Mars)

On the plains of the red planet I uphold the law,

and I do it with a pair of robot fists —

POW!

Evil extermination I have faced,

For my robot rogues they hardly ever miss!

And I reckon I”ll be riding

in the name of truth and justice

for as long as I can count the shooting stars,

For I’ve sworn by the burrs of my astro spurs,

to right the outlaw wrongs on Mars!

(Yes he rights the outlaw wrongs on Mars)

So that’s me!
