Everyone has a hook, Eliot. Everyone has a weakness you can exploit.

#will never think of it as a weakness though #but having a team and having someone they care about makes them vulnerable #and i feel like nate and eliot are both very acutely aware of this and afraid of it #which is why i’m so glad it was those two #because nate already lost his family and he’d risk everything not to let that happen again #and eliot constantly sees people as potential targets and he doesn’t let people in because if he does then he puts them in danger #and they both know they’d do anything to protect their team #because they’re a fucking family #ugh i simultaneously love and hate everything

thieves-r-us:

JOHN ROGERS: You did one of your acting tricks on that, didn’t you?
AMY BERG: Oh, that was fantastic.
DEAN DEVLIN: Yeah, well, he says “Is your team good?” and Tim has to say “The best.” so when we did Tim’s close-up, I whispered in the actor’s ear and I had him say “Your son, in Paris, he’s good?”-
JOHN ROGERS: Yeah, and Tim has a six years old-  Is Milo six or seven? He’s about that age.
DEAN DEVLIN: Yeah, and he said “The best.” And you can tell he’s talking about someone he really, really loves.
