He does irk you, doesn’t he?”
“Er, not him. The way the universe treated him. Being him was like a holiday. A very wonderful holiday.

Evelyn and Six on his previous incarnation (Five); BFA: 100 – “100 Days of the Doctor” (via magiifox)

Evidently Six has completely forgotten…

  • Earthshock with its huge body count and the Doctor’s biggest failure ever
  • Arc of Infinity (shot by Six, sentenced to death)
  • Mawdryn Undead (hey YEAH I’ll give up all my remaining incarnations for these mere mortals!)
  • Terminus (depressing place is depressing and now the only trustworthy/competent member of my crew is staying behind….)
  • Resurrection of the Daleks and great piles of corpses and pointless death
  • Frontios, planet of dying paranoid humanity and ugly bugs
  • Planet of Fire watching the Master get cooked alive (an enemy, but the Doctor has trouble killing people, and that was pretty gruesome plus that was the body of Nyssa’s father)
  • Caves of Androzani and death by milking a giant bat.
  • getting stuck with Kamelion. And for that matter, having a dysfunctional TARDIS crew for nearly every episode of his TV run, since everyone but Nyssa was bickering, whinging or trying to kill him.

And that’s not even counting all the awful things that have happened in other Big Finish audios, from Spare Parts to Creatures of Beauty to Prisoners of Fate.

typical me, typical me: A fanmix for Turlough

A New Wave mix for Turlough. Filled with songs heavy on droning guitars, cynical lyrics, and a gray outlook for an exiled rebel trapped as an English schoolboy. (And because I have a headcanon that there’s two things he enjoys about earth: tea and The Smiths).
