The Doctor and his companions…his second family. One of the reasons why I love this show is because I get to see the Doctor bond with his companions. He grows to love them all, but on different levels and in different ways.

This photoset was much harder to make than the last one I made that featured only the companions since the 2005 revival. I made this one to go along with that one. Characters aren’t ‘paired’ as often during the classic series because romantic relationships are not a big part of the show. Even so, you can clearly see that the Doctor loves all of his companions (Classic and New) and sees each and every one of them as part of his surrogate family.
