Everyone is wondering why capaldi’s doctor cant fly the Tardis, seriously did you even watch doctor who? Every doctor after regenerating becomes unstable often including memory loss, Paul McGann’s doctor literally forgot he was a time lord.

I completely agree that it should be no surprise that the Twelfth Doctor has trouble flying the TARDIS immediately after a regeneration. Unquestionably the person who should know this the best is the Doctor himself. So the question I have to ask myself is why does the Eleventh Doctor walk into a parked TARDIS and take off in it moments before he’s about to regenerate? Surely the safe thing would be to just lock the doors and stay parked until the whole process is complete?

And actually… the Tenth Doctor does exactly the same thing. He walks into the safely parked TARDIS after stalking Rose and takes off knowing full well he’s just about to regenerate. When, again, he could have just locked the doors and waited for his future self to take off once he was fully recovered.

So basically I’m starting to think the New Who Doctors know exactly what they’re doing and are purposefully sabotaging things for their future selves. Either as a kinda hazing process or just ‘cause the Doctor is always a little bit of a jerk to his other incarnations.

brain thought of word “coffee” while conjuring up image of making popcorn. brain clearly trying to sober self up. huh. made coffee on stove anyway. no, popcorn. popcorn. and another drink.

lol so i just started my new position on monday (which was a significant increase in salary from my previous position) and i’m already getting a raise.

pretty excited to actually start training for my new job tomorrow. while it was nice getting paid to do nothing the past two days it was also prettyyy boring.

only four more days at my current position and then i start my new job.

(aaand it’s sorta a stressful time b/c we have so much to do because sometimes “Good Ideas” that are efficient! and time saving! mean that four of us (two of us) have to deal with the fallout in a rly inefficient way but hey after next friday it will not be my prooooblem and they started training two ppl to do my job yesterday so woohoo to you)

i want to get an arrow tattoo on my foot and i can say it is because, as anyone who’s been on the arrow tag will know, “an arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it’s going to launch you into something great. so just focus, and keep aiming.”
